Meet your cousins and celebrate your Bidwell Connections at the 2009 Bidwell Reunion in Branson, Missouri.

This year’s registration will be handled differently. It is a package deal. The package includes four nights at the hotel (Thursday thru Sunday night), all meals (except Friday and Saturday lunch), all taxes, tips, shows and bus fares are included in one price.

That price is per person: Single $586.00; Double $430.00; Triple $378.00; Quad $352.00. Children ages 4 to 11 $201.00; Teens 12 to 17 $321.00.

Reservation deadline is April 24, 2009. For reservations, contact tour agent Valerie Yow, at the Branson Tourism Center who will handle all the details.
If you would like an extra night at the hotel before or after, talk to her, she can arrange it. If you would like to opt out of any of the shows or tours or nights, she will arrange that also and make the adjustments in your cost.

Thursday June 25, 2009:

No planned activities until evening. Kevin White, our host, will have your tickets at the hotel. Call him to meet before tonight’s show to get your tickets and arrange for car pools, since there is no transportation to this show and dinner. His phone # is 918-682-4553.

7:10 PM: Pre show starts

Dinner: Rotisserie chicken, hickory smoked BBQ pork loin, corn on the cob, creamy vegetable soup, hot home made biscuit, herb basted potato, flaky apple pastry and unlimited Pepsi, tea or coffee. (Vegetarian meals upon request)

8:00 PM: Dixie Stampede Dinner & Show (8 to 9:30 pm) Extra: Special souvenir boot mug in non-alcoholic carriage room $3.00

Friday June 26, 2009:

7:00 to 10:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel

All free breakfasts at the hotel include: cereal, yogurt, granola bars, French toast, grapes, pop tarts, bananas, apples, coffee, juices, donuts.

9:45 AM: Bus/shuttle to pick us up in front of the hotel

10:00 AM: Ride the Ducks. This 80 minute tour aboard a restored WW II amphibious vehicle known as a duck cruises down country music Boulevard to SR 165, heads south to Table Rock Dam & climbs off road to the top of 1325 ft. Baird Mountain, for a panoramic view of Table Rock Lake before entering the water.

Noon: Lunch on your own

3:00 PM: Bidwell Board meeting (room to be announced)

5:00 PM: Board the bus for Eureka Springs, AR (hour drive)

7:00 PM: Pre show
Bible Museum: contains 6,000+ Bibles in 625 languages
Sacred Arts Center: Displays 1,000+ pieces of Biblical art
Buffet 4:30 to 8:00 PM (3 meats, hot vegetable bar, salad bar, drink and dessert)

8:30 PM: The Great Passion Play
Depicts the days leading to Christ’s death, followed by the resurrection and ascension. The staging area represents the streets of Jerusalem at the time of Christ.

Saturday June 27, 2009:

7:00 to 10:00 AM: Free breakfast at the hotel

10:30 AM: General meeting (room to be announced) Followed by lunch on your own and free time

6:00 PM: Annual banquet and auction (meal to include 2 meats, 3 sides, salad and dessert)

Sunday June 28, 2009:

7:00 to 10:00 AM: Free breakfast in the hotel

9:30 AM: Memorial service (location to be announced)

10:15 AM: Board the bus

11:00 AM: Lunch at Lambert’s Café (

1:00 PM: Fantastic Caverns (
First explored by 12 women in 1867, it has a history as a speakeasy in the 1920s, outfitted w/dance floor, gambling tables and a bar. Only drive through cave in America.

6:00 PM: Dinner at Peppercorns Restaurant, a bright & cheerful family atmosphere which features a daily buffet.

7:30 PM: Jim Stafford Show (
VIP seats (rows 1-9) Bidwell Family will be recognized. Voted “Branson’s best Entertainer”, delivers 2 hours of fun filled, action packed, side splitting comedy and entertainment.

Sunday Night:

This night is included in your package as well as another free breakfast at the hotel on Monday morning along with goodbyes for another year. Then check out unless you have arranged for additional nights.
